De Wetshof`s elegant chardonnay hails from their vineyard which site on heavy clay soils which are rich in limestone, this imparts a crisp mineral character on the palate. This unoaked Chardonnay has fresh peach, grapefruit and apple notes combined with a rich nuttiness from 4 months ageing on the lees. Very good balance and finesse with a fresh acidity and a long, zesty finish.
