Speyside is located in the north east of Scotland and boasts the largest concentration of distilleries in the country, with around half of all Scottish distilleries located there. The vast mix of distilleries in the region means that the range of flavours in Speyside whiskies is very diverse - in this tasting set we ask, what is a classic Speyside?
Classic Speyside? tasting showcases some of the best drams Speyside has to offer. After kicking off with the hidden gem that is Auchroisk, we introduce a superb face-off between 15-year-olds from headliners GlenAllachie, Glenfiddich and Glenlivet. The recently released (and spectacular) Benromach 21 closes out the tasting.
